victoria + matt + birthday = mattoria's thirtieth.

You're not going to believe this one: Husband and Wife Matt and Victoria were born on the exact same day, in the exact same hospital. They were in the nursery together. Chillin'. In matching swaddled burrito blankets. I don't know if that last part is true but that's how I imagined it and it really adds to an already amazing story.

I've been shooting for/working with Victoria for a while now, and what a great experience it has been. I have had loads of my images featured on some of my favorite blogs thanks to her, and caught the party planning bug (images of a recent baby shower I threw coming soon!). Check out her spectacular work on a sublte revelry.

I'm so excited to show you the images I took of their beachy birthday. How cute are they!?!

They decided to make a rope made of all the lessons they've learned in their thirty years. My favorite was "Check the oil in the car regularly". Because I don't. And I should.

Beer and wine floats? I was skeptical, but the wine float was delish!

And my favorite - a perfect bonfire starter kit.

Then they pulled up some lawn chairs, popcorn, and swedish fish and enjoyed the show. So lovely.

Happy Birthday Victoria and Matt - you two kids are fun stuff!

This reminds me of that song Folding Chair by Regina Spektor.
